Color Change Wraps
The most common colors on vehicles are black and white. These are classic, ageless colors that never go out of style. We’ve come a long way since Henry Ford’s famous quote about the Model T, “Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants, so long as it is black.” Solid color options for painting cars are endless, but when it comes to vinyl wraps they go far beyond. With a variety of nice subtle pearls, metallic colors, and Color Flips vinyl from 3M that change color depending on how the light shines on the car, it will color shift. Similar to the old hot rod days when they layered different candy colors on top of each other, this effect would also change color depending if parts of the car were in the sunlight or the shadows. The painted version is a lot deeper and dimensional, but the vinyl is pretty cool. Color wraps essentially mimic paint. While they still have their limitations, the technology is improving at a rapid pace. Other wrap options that are unique are wraps with a texture. Such patterns as Carbon Fiber, Brushed Steel, and Matrix Black have a textural feel to them and are great for accent pieces on a vehicle. If you are into unique and very jazzy colors, there are a lot of wraps available that may look like you need to wear a Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat outfit while out on the town.
